illustrated on the right you can, of course, set the cup straight up, (3)
but with its unique design this stand will also hold the cup on its side,
the pedestal of the cup fitting in the indentation marked "A" so that the
lovely patterns inside can be appreciated (2).
The motif on the
outside (1) can be shown to advantage with raised "lips" on the front edge
balancing the cup for either forward or sideways viewing. The lowered area
